Basic Operations / Layout and Print Settings window
Click the Layout and Print button in the header to display this window.
For details on making layout settings, see 3. Layout.

The following table explains the items in the Layout and Print window.

Menu Bar |
Gives you access to the Easy Photo Print functions. For details, see Menus. |

Operation Step bar |
Displays the various operations as buttons. By starting from the left and working through the buttons one by one, you can easily retouch photos or make print settings. |

Previous/Next button |
Proceed to the next step or back to the previous step. |
|
|
4 |
Save This Page button |
Save the print image (photo and layout settings) currently displayed in the Layout and Print window as a QLD format file in Windows or QLD2 format file in Macintosh. To open the saved file, click Open from the File menu. In the window displayed, select the file you saved. The next time you print, you can print using the same layout settings. |

5 |
Magnification |
Increase or decrease the magnification. From 50 to 200%. |

6 |
Move Photo |
Click the buttons to move a photo by 1 pixel within the photo frame. You can also move a photo by dragging it. |

Rotate |
Click the |

Rotate All Photos |
Select the check box and click the Rotate button to rotate all the selected photos in the same direction. |

Cancel button |
Click to cancel the settings made. |

9 |
Red-Eye Fix icon |
This icon is displayed if the red-eye correction is applied to the selected photo. |
|

10 |
Red-Eye Fix All (Auto) button |
Applies the automatic red-eye correction to all the photos. In order to cancel red-eye correction, you need to press the Image Correct button to enter the Image Correction dialog box. Remove the check in Red-eye Fix (Auto) and then press the Close button.
Note: When using this button, unexpected areas could be corrected in some images. In such a case, remove the check in Red-Eye Fix (Auto) and use Red-Eye Fix (Manual) in the Print Correction dialog box. See Layout and Print Window - Print Correction Dialog Box. |

11 |
Borderless |
Set the amount of image that extends beyond the edges of borderless prints. This setting is available when Borderless is selected as the Paper Source setting in the Select Paper window. |

Auto Cut |
Select how to cut the roll paper with auto cutter. This is displayed when Roll Paper is selected as the Paper Source. This is not available when the printer does not support roll paper. Even if the printer does support roll paper, Auto Cut is only displayed when the Auto Cutter is attached. Mac OS X does not support roll paper. |

Click to print. |

13 |
Portrait Enhance icon |
This icon is displayed when the Portrait Enhance corrections are applied to the selected photo. In order to cancel Portrait Enhance corrections, you need to click the Image Correct button to enter the Print Correction dialog box. Then click the Portrait Enhance button in the Print Correction dialog box to enter the Portrait Enhance dialog box. Set both Face Definition and Skin Radiance sliders to 0. And then click the Close button. Clicking the Close button in the Print Correction dialog box brings you back to the Layout and Print window. Number of Copies button |
Displays the Number of Copies dialog box. You can specify the number of copies you want to print for each page, or the same number of copies for all pages. For details, see Number of Copies Dialog Box. |

Number of pages |
Specify the number of pages to print for the current page. |

Page |
Displays the current page number and the total number of pages. |

Custom Print Settings Register button |
Register the current print settings to Custom Print. This function allows you to print photos easily with the registered settings. For details, see Layout and Print Window - Set Custom Print Settings or Registering to Custom Print to Print. |

Move/Delete Frame button |
Click this button to display the Move/Delete Frame dialog box. Here you can move or delete P.I.F. Frames. Only available when Added Frame is selected in Select Layout. |

Add Frame button |
Click this button to display the Add Frame dialog box. Here you can add P.I.F. Frames. To view added P.I.F. Frames, select Added Frame from Select Layout. For details, see Layout and Print Window - Add Frame Dialog Box. |

Create/Edit Frame button |
Displays the Create/Edit Frame dialog box, where you can select whether to create or to edit a frame. In the Edit Frame dialog box that appears after this dialog box, you can create or edit a P.I.F Frame. Select Added Frame from Select Layout to display the created frame in the Layout selection list. |

Layout selection list |
Displays the layouts available for the printer and paper size you choose. Select the layout you want to use.

Select Layout |
Standard/Added Frame |
Select between Standard and Added Frame. When you select Standard, the layouts available for the selected printer and the selected paper size are displayed. When you select Added Frame, the P.I.F. Frames that have ever been added are displayed. |

Category |
When you select Added Frame, the Category can be selected. By switching the category, you can see only the added P.I.F. Frames that are classified under that category. |

Fit to Window |
Select the check box to view the entire image in the preview area. |

|

Photo Layout |
Automatic |
Automatically lays out the photos you selected in the Select Photos step. |

Manual |
Manually select the photos to set the layout. To select the photos you want, drag them to the Photo Layout frame. |

Image Correct button |
Click to display the Print Correction dialog box. Here you can make corrections to photos. For details, see Layout and Print Window - Print Correction Dialog Box. |
